Next day results

Travelers to England who are not fully vaccinated are required to isolate for 10 days after arrival. They may pay for a private Covid-19 PCR test after 5 full days to end their isolation early. Check if your vaccine meets the UK government requirements by reading the rules here.

If you have visited any country on the government ‘Red list’ in the 10 days prior to your arrival in England you are not eligible to take part, the latest list is available here.

Arrivals in England are also required to take a Covid-19 PCR test on day 2 after arrival. If you do not qualify as ‘fully vaccinated’ then you will need to take a Covid-19 PCR test on day 2 and day 8. These tests are separate to the ‘Test to Release’ scheme, you can book these online here. We also have a special package available for clients who require, day 2 and 8 tests plus a day 5 Test to release test.

Get Ready

Before you start the booking process please have the following information to hand, this is needed for each person booking a test.

Name, date of birth, usual address (and address where they will be self-isolating if different), gender, ethnicity, NHS number (if known), all countries visited in the 10 days before their arrival in England, flight number (or vessel or coach number), passport number, vaccination status for Covid-19.

When you have completed your booking you will receive instant email confirmation. This will contain your ‘booking reference’, which you will need to enter this on your passenger locator form here, before you arrive in England.

Choose At Home Test or In-Clinic

At-Home Test

Central London, including clients local to us in SW6 and SW10. Our courier service will drop your test kit and wait for 10 minutes, whilst you complete your swab test kit.

Outside Central London: Securely packaged test kits are delivered by Royal Mail next day post. Return your test by Royal Mail next day special delivery using a designated priority postbox, locations available here. Due to the ongoing pandemic delay are possible in postage, if you would prefer to use a courier service please contact our team for a quote.

In-Clinic Test

Appointments available Monday to Saturday, in our central clinics in Fulham, West London. Swabs can be taken from adults and children of all ages by our experienced private GPs, in a safe and welcoming environment.

Laboratory Analysis

All samples are analysed by a government-approved private UKAS registered laboratory, their current turnaround time is 24 hours from the time they receive your sample.

Results

Get your results including a certificate by email and text alert the next day.

Fees

  • At home testing
    • £180 including delivery fees, swab test kit, laboratory fees, and certificate.
    • Additional charges will apply if a courier service is required outside of SW6, SW10 and Central London.
  • In-clinic testing
    • £230 including swab sample taking by GP, swab test kit, laboratory fees, and certificate.

We can accept no responsibility for financial losses, travel cancellations, disruption, or refusal to travel due to failed or later delivery of test kit and/or reported test results. All Covid-19 test results will be reported to Public Health England, this is a legal requirement, in the event of a positive test your contact details may be passed to authorities including the NHS Test and Trace service.

Yes, we are on the UK government list of Covid-19 testing providers for both general testing and ‘Test to release’ testing available online here.

The earliest day a test can be taken is on the 5th FULL day of isolation. So if you arrive in England on Monday, your 1st full day of isolation is Tuesday and the earliest you can test is Saturday.

The ‘Test to Release’ scheme applies to people of all ages. Our test kits are suitable for all ages and contain full instructions, our team is always contactable by email and phone for advice. If you would prefer you may choose to test in clinic where all swabs are taken by experienced private GPs.

We use motorbike couriers to ensure samples from home tests and in-clinic are received quickly in at London laboratory partner. Test results are available the next day.

We only use a trusted laboratory in London for our tests who have a strong track record of delivering an excellent service for our clients.

We are a well-established medical clinic and therefore highly experienced in ensuring the confidentiality of your data. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and use a specialist medical electronic record system to keep all your data secure.

There is special legislation in order to protect the public against Covid-19, this means we are required to share your personal details including details of your travel and your test result with Public Health England.

You will receive a signed certificate with your result by email. We will alert you that your result is ready by text message. If you require an alternative method then please let us know.

The ‘Test to Release’ scheme to shorten your isolation is for a test taken on or after the 5th full day of isolation in England. It is an optional scheme to reduce your isolation time.

It is completely separate to the Day 2 and 8 tests for International Arrivals, these tests are compulsory and you can book these online here. 

The UK government apply special rules for arrivals from ‘Red list’ countries, you must enter managed hotel quarantine and are not eligible for the ‘Test to Release’ scheme. Full details of the scheme are available here.

As soon as you complete your booking online you will receive instant email confirmation. Your email will contain your ‘booking reference’ which you can use for your passenger locator form. If you have not received the email then please check your junk mail folder and otherwise contact us at testtorelease@coynemedical.com.

You can also book a ‘Test to release’ after you have arrived in England. If you do this you should update your passenger locator form online with your booking reference.

Yes, you can opt in to the ‘Test to release’ scheme anytime after your arrival as long as you. have not been in a ‘red list’ country in the 10 days prior to arrival in England.
